Geometry

Maybe it was my love of Lego I'm not sure. While studying Stone Masonry I really enjoyed the processes involved when carving stone. I found it fascinating  that to make a curved shape, flat planes need to be used.

I have been developing this style for quite some time. 

 

There are no limitations to the variety of sculptural forms I can create.

 

In particular I enjoy the way the light plays on the shapes. They work both indoors and out, a spot light or natural light. As the sun moves the shapes change, creating new forms throughout the day.
